Spencer King practices in the areas of commercial and securities litigation. He graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University Law Center in 2014, where he was a member of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources and the recipient of the John P. Laborde Endowed Scholarship. While in law school, Mr. King served as an intern for United States Magistrate Judge Sally Shushan of the Eastern District of Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University.
In addition to assisting with work on the treatise entitled Litigating Business and Commercial Tort Cases (Thompson Reuters 2014), Mr. King has authored the following articles:
- Clearing the Air: The Misguided Ruling of EME Homer and the Future of Interstate Pollution Regulation, 2 LSU J. of Energy L. & Resources (2013).

Mr. King is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the Young Leadership Council, and was selected into the Youth Empowerment Project’s 2017 “40 Under 40” Cohort. He was born in New Orleans.
