Pierre G. Walker, III, works primarily in the area of civil and commercial litigation and complex transactional representation, including mediation and arbitration. His experience includes cases involving ad valorem property tax disputes, breach of contract, fraud, property and boundary dispute resolution, tax credit development analysis and implementation, and domestic litigation for preferred clients. He represents clients in arbitration proceedings, before licensed mediators, the American Arbitration Association, and all Louisiana state and federal courts. Mr. Walker has represented clients in a wide variety of transactions and cases, assisting in the development, financing, construction, and management of over $85 million dollars of placed in service real estate.

 

Mr. Walker is a respected officer of the court in good standing for the past 28 years. He has practiced in multiple parishes and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, as well as having successful appellate experience, arguing and winning before the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.

 

Mr. Walker received his law degree from The University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville, AR, in 1991. While there, he was Associate Editor of the Arkansas Law Review, and won both the Medical Law and Environmental Law Scholarship Awards for his work in those fields. He was attached to the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office while in law school, prosecuting cases at that time. Mr. Walker received his undergraduate degree in Journalism, and was awarded Photo-Journalist of the Year and the Olsen Award for Journalism in 1985, as well as multiple Merit Scholarships between 1983 and 1985.

 

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1961. He has four daughters and the love of his life, Ms. Nathalie Dubois, is a realtor for Berkshire Hathaway.
